Rapunzel in the Depth
Rapunzel’s down a well
her hair is coiled down with her
and is no use to climb
going down’s no good
you might dislodge a rock
and break her porcelain crown
do not yell advice
the echoes will shatter
her listening heart
extinguish the torch
she has a light
but stays in the darkness for now
just wait whisper leave a gift
one day she may save you
