Three Drops from a Cauldron: Issue 18 (August 2017)

We’re a little late this month because your Faithful Editor went on holiday with her children and took two weeks off. But not to worry – we’re back on track now!

For me, August always feels like a month between the seasons, especially in the UK – it’s not quite autumn, but summer is waning. If you’re feeling restless because you’re impatiently waiting for sweater weather, or sad because you’re missing the lightest longest nights, I hear a bundle of fantastical poems and flash fictions can help with both…

We have a lot of water, women, slanted fairytales, magic, and stars this month. Featuring work by Simon Cockle, Karen Jane Cannon, Spangle McQueen, Bethany Rivers, Abigail Elizabeth Ottley Wyatt, Jane Burn, Samuel Kendall, Sharon Phillips, Paul Brookes, Kathy Gee, Mandy Macdonald, Rob Evans, Stephen Bone, and Rex Davies. Cover art by Fabrice B. Poussin.

Happy reading!
