Our November 2017 issue is here, which means two things: the days are getting much shorter and darker, and this is our last web journal issue until spring 2018. We will be back briefly in December with our Midwinter 2017 special, but this is where the regular monthly Three Drops dose of folklore, mythology, and fairytales in poetry and flash fiction ends for the next six months, because I (Kate) am off to have a baby (yes, another one) in the wintertime.
It’s a very cold-weather selection in the web journal this time – bear transformations, Jack Frost, Norse myths, death and loss, dark forests, and Christmas, amongst other things. I hope you find something to enjoy, and thanks – as always – for reading.
Featuring poetry, fiction and art by Susan Castillo, Alexandra Carr-Malcolm, Sue Kindon, Kate Innes, Stella Wulf, Gillian Rule, Karen Little, Michèle Brenton, Nancy Scott, John Alwyine-Mosely, Simon Williams, Angela Readman, Alison Lock, Rachel Burns, Denni Turp, and Kathy Gee.
Happy reading!
